  Curator needed for lugnet.ambassadors

Hi, Subject says it all. Is an ambassador among you who's willing to make it? THANK YOU! Rene (18 years ago, 25-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.ambassadors)

Re: How do i get my full name omitted from my posts?

Hi Richard, I spoke to Jerry and we came to the conclusion, that deleting posts containing your name would not be a reasonable step, not only from the technical point. 1st, there's www.archive.org. 2nd, the correspondending threads would become (...)   How do i get my full name omitted from my posts?

I was wondering if someone could offer some assistance! I've just entered into a government position the requires me to have my full name omitted from any web sites or internet documents. I joined Lugnet long ago when it first started up sith Suz (...) (18 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators)

Re: Curator for /loc/ca/bc/ and /org/ca/viclug/

Thanks! (18 years ago, 16-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators)

Request to be added as a .trains curator

Given the amount of effort Tim David has to put in to keep the trains sidebar up to date I'd like to apply for a co-curatorship to try to take some of the workload off him. Tim (18 years ago, 15-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.trains)

Re: Curator for /loc/ca/bc/ and /org/ca/viclug/

(...) Hi Ted, now you have the curator privileges for both groups. Enjoy! -Rene (18 years ago, 15-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Curator for /loc/ca/bc/ and /org/ca/viclug/

Now that I finally got a full membership here I thought I would volunteer to become the curator of the Victoria-based groups: /loc/ca/bc/ and /org/ca/viclug/ I have some experience with building webpages and have started playing with the FTX system (...)   Re: The Problem Specifically

(...) Could a temporary solution be to allow a double / to specifiy the cutoff? Tim (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: The Problem Specifically

(...) Yes, that's what's happening. Not sure what an easy fix is either. The problem is, if a page starts with ~nnn then the server can easily tell that everything after the '~' is part of the FTX page name. But when you hang a page off an actual (...)   Re: The Problem Specifically

(...) I wonder if it's because it's off a real page, and not off your userpage. I wasn't able to create (URL) either. I'll see if I can spot any configuration differences between how userpages are treated and FTX off "real" pages. (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  The Problem Specifically

Okay, here is my problem specifically: I've created this page: (URL) Now I want to create this: (URL) > and I get an "error 404". If I create: (URL), it asked me if I wanted to start a new page (which I did). I'm at a loss, here. JOHN (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators, FTX)

  Re: Question

(...) I was having trouble with the fifth, so I guess the number of levels wasn't the problem. I'll check for issues elsewhere. Thanks for the response, Rene! Schleim on, JOHN (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators, FTX)

  Re: Question

(...) Hi John, I was able to make 8 levels: (URL) I'm sure I could raise the number somewhere, I would have to search for where I can set it. But do you really need more than 8 levels or did you just took cognizance of it? Leg Godt! Rene (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators, FTX)

  Question

Is there a limit as to the number of pages one can create? Such as: lugnet.com/foo/bar/g...in/alright etc. I seem to be hitting a wall and I'm wondering if this is the case. TIA, JOHN (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators, FTX)

  Re: Links on sidebar

(...) Thanks for the tip, Rosco. I was wondering about that-- getting the page off of my personal page. Ross and I have been furiously playing around with the FTX today and we appreciate the feedback! :-) JOHN (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators, FTX)

  Links on sidebar

Hi John, For club specific information, like the links on the sidebar, you might want to look at putting it on sub-pages of the main TCLTC page, rather than your page. That way, if your group gets additional curators, they can all edit the (...) (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, lugnet.admin.curators, FTX)

  Re: Colossal Castle Contest IV

(...) Hi Joe, I'm the admin that accidently approved and then removed your entries. As noted in the Classic-Castle thread that Tim linked, many entries are currently disqualified due to size limits. The contest rules are that images should have a (...) (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Colossal Castle Contest IV

(...) Hi Joe, You might want to look at the thread here (URL) to see if your entries are on the list. Tim PS. Please use the conveniently placed Return or Enter key when posting messages. (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.curators)

Re: Curatorship for local newsgroup GREENLAND

Re: Curatorship for local newsgroup GREENLAND

(...) Hi Chris, thank you very much for your interest. I will send an email in a few hours (11pm here, need some sleep :-) Leg Godt! Rene (18 years ago, 7-Aug-06, to lugnet.admin.curators)
