Re: Have a curator for robotics/rcx/legos ? and...

(...) As (...) I would prefer to see a single newsgroup for several reasons. brickOS is a morphing or molting from legOS if you will not a diverging or evolutionary different creation (i.e. it is only a name change). brickOS and legOS are the same (...)   Re: Have a curator for robotics/rcx/legos ? and...

Stephen, (...) I'd gladly second that (self-)nomination! (...) I would consider keeping the old group and creating a new one for brickOS. My main reasoning is that there are sure to be queries about previous releases of legOS for quite some time, (...) (22 years ago, 18-Aug-02, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Have a curator for robotics/rcx/legos ? and...

Admins, Our info at legOS could use some "tuning". Who's our curator (I'm assumming that's who would do this)? If we don't have one I'd like to volunteer. I'm the current release manager for legOS/brickOS. Which brings up the next subject. Our name (...) (22 years ago, 17-Aug-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  who is the castle curator???

I ask this because all the other themes have had some sort of modification. Castle looks like its Ancient (no pun intended). I would like to volunteer if there are no objections. I might need a couple of weeks to make sure my schedule can handle the (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Curator for /loc/au/vic/mel

Hi admins! I'd like to take on the curatorship for this small, but important (to Melbournians) corner of Lugnet. Thanks ROSCO (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: New Polling Mechanism Available

(...) Simple 2D tables with the tilde (~). I don't know how/if that works on group front pages, though... James (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: New Polling Mechanism Available

(...) Ok that's odd. On the trains front page the posts are squished and the Spolight Entries don't word wrap. But on the Michlug page they do word wrap. And so the division between sidebar and posts is about 50-50. -Jason +---...---+ Jason Spears (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: New Polling Mechanism Available

(...) You can do that in FTX? I'd love to tell an embedded thing that it has to stay within 40% of the page width. Do I have control (on the front page of a group) over how the posts on the right are laid out??? I didn't think so. (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: New Polling Mechanism Available

(...) I just made the page into a two-column table. --Todd (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: New Polling Mechanism Available

(...) Ya, you also include it (or "place" it) by saying [Poll 3] --Todd (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)
