| | Re: Legoland Shopping
| I was there just a month ago and I agree with the first post by David. The bulk bricks were in the Mania club house - they were at the counter where they sell food and drinks. There was perhaps a selection of 10 different types for sale by weight (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.org.us.lugola)

| | Re: LEGO parts -- genuine?
| Simon, What you have is Lego made from Cellulose Acetate (or CA). That is a kind of plastic that Lego used until 1963. After that, they switched to ABS still in use today. The descriptions you use are classic CA. The color is lighter. It warps (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

| | Re: bulk ordering is here!
| (...) ;-) The prices appear to be very reasonable indeed. The assortement of basic bricks is still a bit narrow, with no 1x2 or 1x1 bricks, for example, but people who need bulk basic bricks probably don't need the small ones, anyway. When it comes (...) They still do it today with bricks and pieces that are not produced for the general public. Just go to a (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

| Yes, I would love to try it on the amfleet cars, which have a pronounced curvature. There are two problems, 1x4 gray hinge plates are fairly rare and you can't use the wide roof with regular bricks. I used brown 1x2 log bricks to get the clearance (...)
