Stop animation tips and software (was: Question about "2001: A LEGO Odyssey")

(...) Thanks so much for these URL's! The first one has a link to (URL) which in turn has a great links page about stop animation tips and available software (both free and commercial). (...) Silly, isn't it? I can only hope DV is added in the (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.animation)

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-02

(...) I agree. I did not completely understand all the discussions about the orientation of that part. But I wouldn't change the Y position. I think that basically this part is to be attached with the pegholes on the side, and then rotated around (...) (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Great time at last meeting -- 1st one for me

BayLug Members, I was the guy with the gray Navy helochopter in the corner. I had a good time at this last BayLug meeting and found some wish list parts from the main part vendor there. I enjoyed meeting and exchanging thoughts with a few of you. I (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.baylug)

Any Lego Shop at home buying groups in the Canberra region?

Hello! I'm new to the Australian Lego "scene" (having moved here from the US), and since the Lego Shop at home shipping costs are quite substantial, I was wondering if there are any buying groups in the Canberra area... What about Lego users groups? (...) (22 years ago, 14-Feb-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: HOWTO: Building and installing brickOS tools on Mac OS X with USB IR tower

(...) Perhaps one of the brickOS folks wants to work with me to turn this into a HOWTO that can go on the brickOS site? I also could take a stab at modifying the "dll" program to support USB on the Mac. If any folks from brickOS are interested, (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

New stop motion animation for your enjoyment!

Hi everyone! I've been lurking on Lugnet for a while, and now I finally have a good reason to post something. I just completed my first Lego animation.   Technic Panel Question

I have modelised the Technic Panel #1 to #4. (see above in the group) I have the real parts #1 and #2, but I don't have panels #3 and #4. So I have modelized them with the description of Steve Bliss. Can someone that has the real part check my dat (...) (25 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Where to get pneumatic small pump and small cylinder

I'd like to get the pneumatic small pump and small cylinder. The best source for this I have found is the Lego Dacta set #9633 for 100$ + shipping ( (URL) ) I see an alternative source with the set #5218, but the content is not very detailed. Has (...)
