  lego reflectance sensors

Hello, we are using Lego reflectance sensors for an experiment and the HB is showing a rather strange behavior. If we plug a single sensor in the expansion board, it works fine, but when two of them are connected, then none of them work. Even more, (...)   Solar cells and caps: lego part #s

This whole Lego capacitor thing strikes me as somewhat intriguing. The super-caps, which are doubtless used, absolutely cannot be charged backwards, they have to have the correct polarity. And all the Lego electrical "stuff" like the RCX sensors, (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Okay. I've searched, I've found, I'm biased, and here are the results. Please note that all this is from the perspective of North American law and the English language, neither of which may have anything to do with European law and the Danish (...)   Re: Coolest LEGO Experience?

Wow everybody! These are some great stories! I have a few that I would like to contribute: 1. Meeting other Mecha Builders in California. 2. Being asked by the TLC to use some of my images for the story "The Art of Lego" on Lego.com in the Build (...) (22 years ago, 10-Dec-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people)

  please identify a tire?

I was wondering whether someone could identify this tire/tyre. A BrickLink or Peeron code would be appreciated, or the number of a set with this tire.   Re: So explain to me why Lego UK dont do trains!

Actually, looking at www.lego.com its hard to determine what lego train should be available in the UK. Though the printed catalogue only has the 4561 express and rails, on the "european" web site there is the whole range of trains. I asked lego some (...) (25 years ago, 15-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: non-Lego elements

(...) I'd have to agree with John on this one. I would say that anything sold under the LEGO trademark, which can somehow be connected to a 2x4 LEGO brick, including doing so by any sequence of parts is certainly a LEGO building element, and thus (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego Technic: R.I.P. ?

Even if Lego withdrew 50% of Technic parts, Technic would still be a richer "medium" to work in than Knex IMHO. I'm not sure why people are so worried about Technic going away. The name is obviously obsolete - I think it's a poor name in the current (...) (22 years ago, 14-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  LEGO and Martian Manhunter....
