| (...) K, have you met me? Fundamentally, I'm lazy. And the code'll already be written such that the wires don't get twisted. I just wanted to try something different, and it'll give me an excuse to use a soldering iron. I'll stay in the scope of the (...) (19 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

| | IRON MECHA - Still unfinished
|
| Here is my progress report. I'm still working on a medium size mecha. The leg joints have been totally redesigend again. I also worked on the upper body and the weapons. | (...) Eek! ground force I mean. Damn that was some bad writings... OK let me do some LEGO talk. After seeing the contest picture I decided to build the unit as close to it as possible in a realistic near-future style. I built the curvey part of the (...) |
| Hi Fradel, It's a good military Mecha MOC but the legs are so chunky it looks to me like a Mech that's 'eaten' too much. Maybe you should have called it 'Max Body Fat'? I like all the 'pods' stuck on the back and the opening hatch so you can get a (...) (19 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

|
| Here's my entry. I'll try to get some better pics. I was fighting for light. You'll notice I did some quick Photoshop work hoping to make them a bit better. (2 URLs) I'm very pressed for time but tried to do a couple lil snazzy Photoshop deals too. (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| | Brandon Griffith's Iron Mecha Entry - by proxy
|
| Hi all, Just moved to the L.A. area, and met Bryce through work. I am not much of a mecha builder, so when the contest came around I decided to enter. It took me 28 days of planning, LDraw design, and parts gathering, but it was worth it. (URL) (...) (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| Never built a robot before - but I think I did a pretty good job with this one. (URL) a lot of fun building this, so no matter what the contest results are, I have already won, so to speak. (19 years ago, 25-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)
