Re: Update: Universal colors - beginnings

(...) What broad sided the AFOL community was the fact that I'm sure everyone here assumed that all of these colors were fixed (including the old grays and brown). Grays and browns have been around seemingly forever. It's crushing to know that those (...) (20 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Re: New MOC: deep-space exploration SHIP "Beagle"

I frick'n hate you. This ship is a beautiful example of proven concepts applied thoroughly and systematically. The stickers are wonderful, (any suggestions on how I might make some of my own?) and placed well. Interiors are balanced, very nice. I've (...) (21 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  New MOC: Medieval(?) house

Hello, Finally finished and photo'ed my latest MOC, a medieval(?) house. My 5 year old daughter, Jenny, has helped 'decorate' with minifigs and other accessories, not all of them typical for medievla times, but you will probably not see that anyway, (...)   From Dan Brown

Hi all. I am back. It has been awhile since I have posted anything from just me. I am no longer on Bricklink. And I have taken back seat at the Toy and Plastic Brick Museum (daily operations).   Re: Fwd from a builder: Colors don't match, among other things!

(...) Everyone should take a deep deep breath and answer the following questions... How many sets have these 'new' colors been seen in ? How many themes have these 'new' colors been seen in ? How many 2004 sets have been examined to determine if (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

The shuttlebay/engine arrangement of that one looks real good (and a little familiar ;-) I concocted the converted freighter bit as a way to explain how blocky this thing turned out. (...) Dave, Just one more thing. PHP doesn't like it when you end weblinks with a slash. Even though in theory the link is correct, it will not kick the true HTML format. (...) Wow. That's gorgeous, Paul. I'm so stoked at this "renaissance" of old themes that's happening these days--with the added innovations so seamlessly inserted. It really does look like a box but not a box, like CS but not CS, teetering right on (...) (21 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)
