Re: New photos of MOC - the German 8,8 Flak/Pak

(...) Thanks Bryce Minifig accessories are a great resource for detailing military models, as many of them are made in grey or black. Finding a way to use a normally 'useless' part as the space binocular is always gratifying. I have a goal to avoid (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: LEGO parts -- genuine?

Thank you for your answer and logical advice. Double checking with the minifig tools, I am seeing a very good fit, and as the parts otherwise match textures, edges, and colors with my LEGOs and the pictures you provided links to (I was looking on (...)   Re: Defining the term "Capital Ship"

(...) I think 80-90 seems about right at minifig scale. I think it would be nice to measure "displaced weight" but I'm not sure how apply it to a spacecraft. I guess all the dimensions should be considered to factor a ship's overall volume. However, (...) (22 years ago, 31-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Village in the Sky

Hey Well, yeah. It's a bit harsh of a minifig "natural selection", isn't it? I should correct that, rather than going into some convoluted explanation of the minifigs all having parachutes, but as none of them have backpacks, they'd have to have (...) (22 years ago, 17-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

The "minifig" image is intellectual property of TLC and a direct reflection of their brand, and we all know how protective TLC is about their brand (rightly and justifiably so). If they see (...)
