  Re: Minifigs

Hmm...MLCAD lists them under "minifig". Have you made sure you downloaded the "complete.exe" file with all the parts? (I don't mean to sound condescending here, just trying to cover all the bases.) Ben Vaughan ---...--- This space reserved for a new (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Patterned parts authoring

Here's how I got started: Using the *text* editor of your choice (I use Notepad), open up the DAT file of the corresponding blank/un-patterned part (973.dat forthe minifig torso; 3626b.dat for the minifig head; (etc.)). Look at the code inside this (...) (24 years ago, 27-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: A familiar uniform on a minifig MOC

Excellent work! I've never thought of using epoxy putty to build up a custom lego element, but it seems perfectly suited to the job - I do use it for all sorts of other household repairs. Love that stuff. When painting that small, do you use (...) (19 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.town)

Re: More scale questions (Was: Scale of Lego)

(...) Lego (minifig) scale is much closer to O scale (1:48) which makes a 1x4 brick 5 feet long and a minifig a sizable 6ft 6in. If it is agreed that 5ft 8in is a more reasonable height for the average human than the scale is closer to 1:42 which (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)
