Re: New world record for highest Lego tower planned

(...) Sorry, but i fear there will be no further pictures available, because I live 70 km away from Hannover. So I have no older pictures too. Anyway: I'm a little upset about typical Lego policy. There is no hint to be found on www.lego.com about (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: New world record for highest Lego tower planned

(...) I think it has to be finished now (at lest that was planned), but I have no informatiopn about how long the tower will stand there. It's to be found in the north of Hannover near the airport.   New MOC: crane waggon + flat car

I have used the Whitsun days for some little new selfdesigned models. Just a small crane waggon and two flat cars. Thanks once more to Larry P. for the MTT (used for flaps in the brown waggon). The tan flaps are from 5948 Treasure Raiders, which (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Boston & Maine GP9 Locomotive

(...) Dear Eric, as you say: the region above the logo is a little bit weak. Please excuse my open word, but I immediately thought about a camel, when I saw the engine first. But if you solve that problem and if you add some more details (e.g. (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

Lego® train motors from 1966 till now...

I just have done a bigger update on my "LEGO® Motor History" site. (URL) quite sure there are still a lot of mistakes in my use of language, but I hope the new pictures could help at some of the frequently asked questions about Lego® motors. Kind (...) (...) The two middle wheel sets have tiles on top and can slide sidwards between the outer wheel sets, which are fixed to the waggons baseplate. Of course the moveable wheels cant fall out, but are hold by kind of "clamps". I think you can't bring 4 (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

New banner for my Lego® homepage

A friend of mine (René, called Navigation, mastermind of www.1000steine.de) has created a banner for bannerlinks on my homepage. I think it's really awesome, so I added it to my startpage and if someone would like to use it, feel free to download (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

In lugnet.general, Mark Haye writes: Thanks Mark, for your reply and good hints and questions! (...) This catalog is not dated, but I suppose it might be from before 1966. If that's the case, this would be indeed the very first Lego® motor. But (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)
