  Re: My first train7 project

(...) Thanks! (...) Yeah, it's a pretty neat piece. Jeff Van Winden used it in his space ship shown at BrickFest last year. Unfortunately, it's upside down! :) There's a lot of bracketing behind the wall to attach it upsidedown without a seam. Even (...)   Re: Tyre (tire) nomenclature

(...) I think standardization is a great idea. I'd like to see this discussion reach other "keepers of lego part names", at least for feedback. I don't expect that a consensus would be reached. For the units, I think millimeters would be better than (...) (18 years ago, 30-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)

UCS-style classic castle. Along the styles of 6080 and 6074. Brick built. PLEASE GOD NONE OF THE GIANT WALL ELEMENTS FROM THE LAST FEW YEARS OF KK. 3000 pieces, model opens up to reveal interior. AT least the size of 2 32x32 baseplates. Multi-tiered (...) (18 years ago, 28-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: BOW, A new brick wargame

(...) I think this is an absolutely fantastic idea! I love the concept, plus the idea that it's more statistically balanced. For instance, a normal 1d20 will do something "somewhere" between 1 and 20, but the odds of a 1 are just as likely as a 14 (...) (18 years ago, 21-Nov-06, to lugnet.gaming, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

(...) Interesting... that sounds like a total suicide strategy to me. I mean, that would have taken hours or days, the soldiers having their hands occupied by shovels instead of weapons all the while being bombarded by enemy fire in the complete (...) (...) Thanks, Martin. (...) That's great. I kind of do consider these King Saul and King David stories to be "the good stuff" in that they are exciting stories, full of intrigue and surprises. Hi. I can't come up with so much specific points to comment on except what has already been mentioned by others. (...) Well done. Your castle has a really great look and feel to it, and your attention to detail is fantastic. I'm not really a fan of the curved walls, but it's nothing you've done.
