  Re: New WTC design prototype

(...) the one in that post. If you search for "bulk discount" you'll probably find it. I think the maximum discount is 15%. Amy (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Which 1x4x3 is better for skyscrapers: clear or transparent?

(...) I've used both in my buildings, but the blue ones are most visible in the one tower I built. I think the color helps with scale. In a real building, in the sunlight, you can't see inside very well. (URL) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

  Re: New WTC design prototype

(...) Okay, I'm a bigger loon, so I thought it might be do-able, but unless you can get tiles a lot cheaper than I can, or I've done the calculation incorrectly, it'd be $2500 *per side*, and that's just the tiles. Not as bad as my minifig-scale (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

  Hello...

Re web site. Creating a logo is always a tricky process, especially if more than one person is involved. Re ads. Advertising is proliferating because we're all paying less attention to it. The advertisers are screaming even louder just to be heard (...) (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Church Update

I've photographed and described my new 7 ft x 5 1/2 ft mobile project table here... (URL) Church page has been updated with photos of the construction site and groundbreaking.   Re: Copenhagen Metro subway station!

(...) This is very cool. Subway stations are such interesting geometric spaces that they beg to be done in LEGO. You made great use of pieces, and the activity really makes an intereting scene. Good job! Amy (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: MichLTC Show Report from Toy & Hobby Expo 2002

(...) Another great-looking layout, and the show report also looks good. I need to get to one of these shows. How did the crowd compare in age/enthusiasm/size to the GATS shows? Amy (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  MichLUG Meeting Summary - 3/10/2001

To All, Well, we had a lot of fun at our meeting today. We all want to thank Kai's parents for letting us use their beautiful home and putting up with LEGO Maniacs for 6 hours! : ) I uploaded some pictures to Brickshelf, here is the link: Well, I (...) For sime time I have been working on a site about Lego history. Although there are plenty of Lego timelines and histories on the internet none are sufficiently complete for the AFOL.   Re: scaffold

(...) I solved this problem. I completed the project table and it's sturdy enough to walk on. I'm going to make spanners out of 2x4's with a rubber-padded foot on each end and one in the middle. These feet will sit in the three aisles of the church (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: Is Brickshelf slow for anyone else lately?

(...) A few ideas to ignore... 1) If folks would use their brickshelf accounts as if they were paying for them there'd be a lot less bandwidth used. Limits to image and folder sizes have been suggested before. Other bandwidth-limiting features might (...) (22 years ago, 2-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)
