Brad, I know in the Mobile robots book they used a Ram chip that had a built in battery back up, whether this would work in the Handyboard (Possible opposing voltage problem), or indeed where you'd get it from. Matt (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Mi sembra interessante "Muscle Wires Project Book". Mi sembra + completo di stiquito e dalle immagini, boris, il robot contenuto, mi sembra controllabile via filo, cosa non possibile con stiquito a giudicare dalle recensioni. (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

(...) never mind. I've done this once, to prove, that you can build a little robot, which won't get stuck in any kind of corner. Can you remember a touch sensor reading? This way by using only one light sensor as an irpd, I can detect which way to turn to avoid the obstacle. Of course, I'd be better off if *I* optimized for space instead of speed, but it can't hurt to have the compiler working for me, if it's (...) The main thing I hit a wall with was when I switched to floating-point, which increased my .lx filesize by about 2k, so if I go back to fixed-point, turn sound off (...)   Memory question
 
Say I had a program that has a very large block of start-up/calibration code that is run once at the top of the program. Does it make any difference if I keep it in the "Main()" task, or put it in a function? I mean from the point of stack space (...) (19 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
