  NXT and Windows 7

I have Windows 7 RC on my netbook and I can't get the NXT software (version 1.1) to install. It hangs when the installer presents its progress bars and starts copying files off the CD. Does the 2.0 software work with Windows 7? By the way, RIS 2.0 (...) (15 years ago, 27-Jul-09, to lugnet.robotics.nxt, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: NXT based 3D scanner

It's very impressive that you pulled off a reasonably-precise 3D scanner using LEGO. Don't worry about its speed: all touch/contact scanners are slow. :) (16 years ago, 16-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.robotics)

Re: The pole reverser - what's it do?

I have a related question: Why did LEGO add a permanent post to the new switch? The old polarity switch could turn 360 degrees if you didn't add a post, but the new one only turns as far as its built-in post allows. I will grant that I've never (...)
