  Are custom made parts LEGO?

Hello! And therefore: Are custom made parts subject of lugnet.general or any respective theme-newsgroup? Though I do not at all deny the creativity that's put into custom made pieces I still wonder. I could take a knife and a piece of wood and carve (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jul-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Fed UP!!!!!!!!

Hello! (...) I'm very much upset with the replacement of the hinges. In particular the fact that we will never see brown classic hinges in any new set enrages me. And there is no lugnet.click-hinges so where am I allowed to complain about them? Bye (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-04, to lugnet.color)

I surrender. (Re: Color Change background)

Hello! I surrender. I'm not convinced but i'm beaten. I, we have got to accept the greysome fact that TLC is not going to retract this colour change. Ever. They think they did the right thing. They deliberated it carefully, they invested money and (...) (20 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.color)

Hi Tim, (...) Ben did not necessarily express an opinion focused towards the colour issue. So I think posting this in .general is also appropriate. Bye Jojo (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.color)

Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

Hello! Not having read the complete thread of suggestions I'll just throw in what I think: I think one main problem with the new colours is that all newly invented parts (for the first time issued in 2004's sets like the Cone Half 8 x 4 x 6 (part (...) Hello! (...) You are right, this term is highly questionable. I like building with LEGO bricks and collecting LEGO sets. But I am not a "fan of LEGO" because - following TLC's corporate identity statement on www.lego.com - "it is not possible to (...) (20 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Hello! (...) Yes, by doing all the mentioned above you gave us sugar. But by changing the greys and brown you stole our bread. Bye Jojo (20 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Hello! (...) Well, you said "you can’t say 'the whole range of parts!'", so leave out this: (URL) and make all of the remaining parts available in the old colours. Make them also available not only in special bulk sets but in every set* you (TLC) is (...) (20 years ago, 5-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

Hello! (...) I'm pretty sure that every set that is released in 2004 comes with the new colours, so also the World City sets. It's going to be a cheap year because I won't buy many sets with useless bricks. Bye Jojo (21 years ago, 14-Mar-04, to lugnet.town)
