| I inquired into making the LEGO CD as a book. All I can say is YIKES!! I checked with www.lulu.com ... a company that specialized in produced books for authors who don't want to go thru a publishing house.... and the price of making the LEGO CD (...) (18 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.announce)

| Hi folks, The LEGO CD's are 2/3 mailed out. I got sidelined with a nasty sinus infections (taking antibiotics), and that slowed me down. | Even if you don't want to purchase a copy of the LEGO CD, I strongly urge you to get a free sample chapter.... because this is a very interesting chapter.... | I almost forgot.... One of the nice things about using the LEGO CD is how easy it is to use the FIND command to find a set number within a chapter. | The 1932 date is when toys were first produced. Prior to that, it's more Christiansen family business ventures. 1932 = startup of toys. 1949 = bought their first injection molding machine, and started making the Automatic Binding Bricks. The (...) (18 years ago, 24-Dec-06, to lugnet.general)

| Thanks Jim! For questions relating to the history of the LEGO company and the Christiansen family, Jim Hughes is really the subject matter expert. A lot of bad things were in progress at the same time.... 1) the USA Samsonite license fiasco. 2) the death of Hanne Christiansen. 3) a new law passed by the Italian parliament.
