(...) I placed my order back on the 14th, and it took until the 22nd before it shipped. Who knows why, but everything came today, including: 1 Lego Countdown Corner 1 Lego Extreme Team Challenge 2 Lego Samurai Stronghold 1 Lego Drag Race Rally 1 (...)   HandyBoard died

Hi all! I have some troubles with my HB. I have set it up together with the expansion board, and it worked properly and very fine. Then once, unfortunately, the LCD, connected to the expansion board, touched one of the five motor-power diodes, and (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Positioning

Hi Pete, I was looking back over you post and realized I didn't answer a couple of your questions. (...) In the program I wrote there are only a few commands. Go forward. Turn left at landmark X. Turn right at landmark X. (...) To be honest, I (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

WB Store down to 50% off

The WB Store has had a further markdown, and now their sale stuff is 50% off the sale price. The actual LEGO choices are pretty slim now -- I think there are only about 6 different LEGO sets and the rest are DUPLO and Primo. Interestingly, on the (...)   Re: Firmware startup bug?

I have replaced my batteries without erasing the firware several times. The trick is replacing the batteries one at a time with the brick turned off. You have then several (10 or so) seconds between each replace. If you leave the brick switched on (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Well, as some of you may remember from previous and various posts, I'm been considering moving back to Utah. The only problem is, I don't have a particularly realistic idea how much it would cost to live there. I figured the SLC Lugnet subgroup (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc)

  Re: item prices

(...) No, seriously, I don't give a rat's patootie about *any* set put out by TLC- I bust'em all up [1]. I don't even build them-- I let my kids. Then they get cannibalized. Right now I'm half way through an observation car that required (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: PID Control

Bill I have code in QuickBasic and C, would this be any good to you?? It was code that I used at Uni and both versions have been tested on real apps so I know they work. For example, I developed a pneumatic cyclinder controller based on the QB (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
