  Re: Building a giant castle

(...) Well, I've built some pretty big castles(1), and I just have a couple of the major castle sets (plus dozens of the smaller ones). Can you build something like Strombrachter? Probably not, but a modest sized castle shouldn't be difficult. As (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help for hard to find sets

(...) Ooo, cool idea. Even if we don't want to delete them, it would be nice to be able to mark them as already taken care, so new readers don't have to waste time on them. Then again, right now, people can follow-up their posting, and let everyone (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

  non train mtg.

Several people have suggested having a meeting at my house (now that I have full control of it again). I'm all for it but there is no room for the train tables. Maybe an informal meeting would be best. We could even call it a house warming pary :) (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

Re: Last round of Target markdowns?

It would be nice if Target was consistant. The two near me work in two different worlds. A couple of weeks ago, one had things at 40% while the other was at 75% off. Neither have marked down the Tie Fighters or Y-Wings. It doesn't matter that they (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

There were none left at that price around here. :-( I did order one yesterday from wbstore.com for about $60, though... not in anyway as good but not that bad either! Have fun, Naji (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Building a giant castle

I have just taken down my collection of about 30 castle sets, most of them being Royal Knights, and I'm about to go to work building a giant castle like Dan Jezek's Skull Kraag Keep or Pawel Nawareciwcz's Strombrachter. But I think that my measly (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Dave Eaton's Grand Piano  [DAT]

Well, Dave sent me some pictures of the grand piano he made so I could use it in an upcoming project. I decided, with his permision, to model it in LDraw so other people could benefit from its grandness. :) Anyway, here it is! Jeff 0 Dave Eaton's (...)   Last round of Target markdowns?

My local Target (San Leandro, CA) had the last round of markdowns (75%!) for the 4561 Railway Express ($32.44), RIS and Tie Fighter and Y-Wing. There weren't any of of the later 2 left, but the Target employee got a kick out of me taking all 6 of (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
