I was just wondering if anyone has ever had trouble with the Fiber Optic cable strands (in an 8480 in this case) such as breakage from repeated handling. I haven't had a problem, I am just wondering if I should order some spares while I still can. (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

I would suggest that you bundle rectangular bricks, arch bricks, column (not just 1x1 round, some 2x2 would be nice), numerous 1x plates (8 studs and longer), technic beams, and a assortment of tiles and hinges as under a new line/theme called (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
