  Re: domanda per esperti nqc

(...) Ben lieto di averlo fatto! Pero' ora aspetto il tuo contributo: sai io soffro di sindrome da debugging... ;))) Ciao, Antonio (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

  IR Question

Greetings, I've heard mention of the various Sharp IR sensors which can give different distance readings for different zones. Part of my final year project is to design and investigate various sensors, but I really have to generate the stuff myself (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Making Ldraw Parts

(...) This made me go look at the FAQ, and I found the following inconsistencies in the FAQ. in Topic "LINE TYPES" we have (the FAQ has): (...) which I think its wrong in the line starting with "5: Draw ...." and further ahead in the FAQ (section (...)   Re: Do I want a micromotor?

I find the biggest problem is the casing. It consists of a small box and two things on the outside, with tiny clips. It's these clips that always brake so I simply glue them. They have more power than you'd expect given their size, as an example of (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: 4x2ReVu: B-wing (slightly off topic)

  Re: Two new LEGO pages

(...) Assuming a minifig is about 6 feet tall, and that your average stud is 8mm across, about 7mm=1 foot.... So it makes 54,000 studs/hour about 11.7 miles per hour in minifig scale... I think that represents a running speed for most people? Not (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Android vs. Droid vs. Automaton (Re: 4x2ReVu: 7141 Naboo Fighter)

Isn't "Astromech" a _type_ of Droid? (as "pickup" is a type of truck, though sometimes used as a noun itself) Interesting curiosity; "Red" - the R2 with a bad motivator that Owen first purchased - is referred to in the script I've got as an (...)   Re: Two new LEGO pages

(...) I wish I could take credit for making those sounds myself, but I found them all on a CD-ROM of "2000 Sound Effects" for $5. Check the bargain bins in Best Buy. Thomas Foote (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Great stuff Thomas! I love the first animation with all of the Blactron guys. I made a fool of myself by laughing so much at it while I was in a public computer lab. Hehe! Pat J (...) and (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Ping-Pong Ball Shooter

I have used the old style motor to shoot 3/8 inch wooden balls with a range of 2-3 feet. Used about a 2 inch shaft attached directly to the motor to bat the balls. The shaft made 3/4 of a revolution before hitting the ball, then it hit a hard stop. (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)
