If you can scrape up a few grey windows you can build decent cars from the engine parts of a second set. I built one using blue framed town windows and while it wasn't GREAT, it looks OK. (25 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Glad you scored! I too noticed the Pirates and Islanders stuff, but I'm not really in to those series, so I passed. A little bit off-topic, but if you enjoy LEGO Pirates, then you'll probably enjoy these too. They're about twice the size of LEGO cannons, come with 3 figure targets, 24 cannon balls and have a range of about 12 feet (in air - they tend to roll for (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
