Re: Ultimate Collector series (different pics)

(...) Great pictures. The three speeder bike designs really illustrate that Lego made an actual decision not to use SPUD's. *Thank you Lego* JMC (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New sets, pictures at lego.com

(...) Just throw in set #4930 for some dwarves. ;) (...) The light-pink fairy in #5823 also has the moon pattern. Can someone tell me *why* they didn't use minifigs for the fairies? These non-poseable SPUDs are terrible! (...) And this fairy has a (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.belville)

Re: Blue Spears and Samurai swords?

Bryan Wong wrote in message ... (...) spears (...) It looks to me like the blue spears in 8511 might even be trans blue... The katanas in 8509 looks like they might be teal. Definitely not black for either of them though. Frank (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  "Just Build" at www.lego.com

I don't know how long this has been in place, but it's new to me. In the members area under "what's new," there is a live, on-screen brick builder app. It contains many of the elements seen in the LEGO Advent Calendar set. Drag and drop. Two-button (...)   Re: Question How do we know if Brad is for real?

(...) I think neither one was childish - Doyle was just checking, while David (I think) was trying to make a point, mainly that you never know anything in this uncertain world, sometimes you just have to believe...   Re: Blue Spears and Samurai swords?

(...) Are my eyes wrong too? Because I see blue spears. Just look at what's holding the spears, now that's black. I don't know about the swords, but i do know that I also see red spears, which IMHO I think they're pretty cool. Karl Martinson (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Building a Mini-fig Army, how much to pay

(...) I'm in the same boat as you, but at least I have my experience of building up my pirate hoard to guide me. Rule number 1: snag minifig packs when they are on heavy discount while you can. The Fright Knights Minifig pack is about the best way (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Friction Tape Found the graph, attaching it here as a very small JPEG; hope it's readable, don't want to take up bandwidth. If someone wants a better res. version, email me... (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Question How do we know if Brad is for real?

Doyle, I think David's point is, how do we know anything with 100% certainty? Without going too deeply into epistimology (we HAVE done just that on off-topic.debate, you could review it if you're interested) I'd claim that we know things in general (...)
