  Swearing?

WARNING: this post should not be read by children or those with weak constitutions, as it contains a word that some people have complained about. Look, this is ridiculous. If everyone is going to whinge whenever someone uses a word that *may* be (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Question How do we know if Brad is for real?

(...) Dan Parker of PNLTC has talked to one of his underlings at LEGO. He is for real, and is a real person. The person Dan talked to knew what was going on with regard to L@D So, if he is a fraud then he is a fraud from the inside of Lego, and is (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: how does a bar code reader work?

On the lego website they have RIS 1.5 programming hints. I just saw that there is a card reader that scans slips of paper with lines on it. I was thinking that the same idea could be used for these trains, since lego already has the basic (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Gecko Rebel V8 (MPD)  [DAT]

Here's just a simple Technic model that I made to explore the possibilities of the flexible hoses. It also has a V8 engine, which may very well be the first in LDraw.   Re: Storylines

(...) Oh, I am VERY inspired by Pawel's work. It's not just a simple, "I've built a castle, you can see it on this page, and take note of A, B and C." Instead he has really instilled life into the minifigs and transformed those little guys into (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Blue Spears and Samurai swords?

Not sure if anybody else pointed this out, but: If you look on page 32 of the Year 2000 Catalogue, you'll discover blue spears and blue samurai swords in sets 8511 and 8509 respectively. Just pointing that out... I think they look very strange. But (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Remote RCX control using a second RCX

I´m probably not the first one to think up this, but I just built a very fun robot using two RCX units. First, I built one robot with motors, a standing one with a swiveling wheel in the back. I used parts to make it look "human", added eyes and (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Classic Castle Figs

(...) Well, you'd have a hard time buying an original castle maiden... And those classic castle men, although not as "expensive" as maidens, are in relatively few sets. Also, those sets are OLD, around late 70's early 80's! So my conclusion is that (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: What should be in the next version of RcxCC

(...) First of all, thanks a lot for making RcxCC. I'm a newbie (owning my RIS since X-mas), but I already love NQC and RcxCC.
