(...) This was used as a trailer hitch conection during the Samsonite era. You connect one end to the "car" and one end to the "trailer" element. I think it was also used on the early legoland train models that rolled on the blue track with red 2X2 (...) (27 years ago, 29-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

as formerly mentioned, i recently got set #375 (1960s Samsonite brick set) at a yard sale for $1. not too special -- it's just a "universal" style set -- but it has a lot of clear bricks and old-style windows and doors and wheels and whatnot, which (...) (27 years ago, 29-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)
