  Re: 2000 Dacta Catalog?

Yes, try asking at The Construction Site. (URL) I was in the store about a week ago, I saw some new DACTA DUPLO sets. I wasn't really paying attention though, so can't rememer enough to relate here (sorry). -Suz. (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.dacta)

  Re: General Box #5

Tamy, I would like to sign up for a general box. The number of the box does not matter. I would also be willing to split a box into two if that still needs to be done. I have hundreds of excellent Lego elements that I do not use that are crying out (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  TRU Sale(?)

I was hoping for more, but... 20% off all Star Wars and Town/Construction/Arctic sets. The sale is on 'til early January. I was hoping for the Slave 1 but nothing. Quite a bit of TPM Lego products, very slim pickings on SW. It seems TPM products are (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Clutch Gear -- Re: Dave's Excellent Book

In most constructions using a motor, you'll notice that there is an 8t gear on the motor shaft meshed with a 24t gear, or even a 24t on the motor shaft to another 24t gear. Just replace the 24t (only need to replace one of them) with the 24t clutch (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: new site: Christmas Train, club car, hopper

Very nice, I especially liked your elves. I never would have thought of using my Forestmen as elves, but now I do not have to. You thought of it for me! Thanks, Chris (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 8 Wide Train Pics

John, I may be guilty of being vague AGAIN. Yes, you can run it on a Mac if you have Virtual PC. I bought Virtual PC so I could run an IR Spectrophotometry program, but I can use Virtual PC to run MLCAD. Yes, it does use the ldraw parts; infact, (...)   Re: January 2000 S@H catalog

(...) OK...of the queen and the princess, which is which? I don't think either of the female minifigs looks anywhere near old enough to be married to Leo... is he robbing the cradle (as well as having an axe fetish)? J (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Dave's Excellent Book

(...) I'm glad you are enjoying the book. Things like the clutch gear and 2x2 "L" plates were actually in the first draft for Chapter 4, but I dropped them since those pieces weren't in 1.0. 1.5 was intoduced a little late for us to re-work such an (...)
