I think the new Technic SW droids are *great*. I'm talking about sets 8000 Pit Droid, 8001 Battle Droid (most builder-collectors will buy three of these, one for each rank, right?), and 8002 Destroyer Droid. On reconsideration ... it wouldn't surprise me at all if one or more of your students has figured it out by the time you next meet--so don't give them even a hint until you find out. I often get ideas when I wake up or while i'm showering in the (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Wish I had a photo for you ... I do have one reference from the old Constructopedia, at (URL) are fairly simple; what makes them somewhat challenging is the height required for mounting. Generally my castored bots use a build-out from the top of (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
