Re: When is "Not an Auction" really an auction?

(...) BTW, one thing which hasn't been brought up yet (that I've seen) is the labels for the newsgroups... lugnet.market.auction -> implies auctions lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade -> implies buying, selling, trading, negotiating, bartering, etc. The (...)   Re: Advent Calendar Fun!

I did the man with the beard thing once, but I used an all black body and gave him the black top hat. I wasn't sure if he looked more like Abraham Lincoln or an Amish man. P.S. I like the lady from the hair dresser! Silas Thomas Main wrote in (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: New Small Church

Very nice! It has a good clean design to it. Effective detailing with minimal pieces (I like the lamps). Make sure you let us know when its finished. Silas Eric Kingsley wrote in message ... (...) have (...) creation (...) for (...) and (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Advent Calendar Fun!

I'm not complaining, I thought you did a great job with only a fig to work with! How about doing something every 3 or 4 days with all the parts too?? or maybe just 1 part from each set.. I'd go for at least 4 days then so you've got 4 parts to work (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Why etoys.com's toys for tots list has no Lego?

(...) I didn't see any option to do that, but I will e-mail them. I think they should just have an option during the checkout process "donate to Toys for Tots". Heck, they'd make more off Lego sets from me, especially since I won't be spending my (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Why etoys.com's toys for tots list has no Lego?

(...) I noticed this as well, think there's a place we could talk to etoys about it? or perhaps pay full price for a set and have them donate it, rather than their sucky sets? (I admit, i didn't look for this option) =-= =-= =-= =-= =-= =-= =-= =-= (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Why etoys.com's toys for tots list has no Lego?

Am I the only one who noticed this? That sucks. I'm planning on donating some Lego sets locally ANYway (and getting free cable installation at my new apartment while I'm at it) but I certainly wouldn't mind zapping off a few more online if I could.   Re: I've tried

(...) Just to make sure you're using the right compiler version, do the following: nqc >output.txt then post (or e-mail me) the contents of output.txt Also, see if it compiles the test.nqc program included in the distribution. Dave Baum (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: converting Mac to PC and the Lego remote

(...) The problems you are seeing are differences between version 1.x and 2.x of the NQC language (not Mac/PC differences). Here are a few differences between 1.x and 2.x. This is by no means a comprehensive list, but it should at least allow you to (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
