(...) In LEdit you can set the rotation centre with the keystroke "/ T C". I don't know about other LEGO CAD packages, but I think they should follow the LEdit standard when it comes to keystrokes. Fredrik (26 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

That was a trick answer. I don't know how and I am hoping someone will say how. I think MLCad takes the center of the grouping bounding rectangle. It certainly doesn't seem to be based on the origin. I had a submodel that I made sure had its 0,0,0 (...) (26 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
