  Re: Got my Battle Droid!!

This is actually all I wonder about English Language. If you can read and write it as "teknik" (this is the word both written and read in Turkish, which means technical) why you use those unnecessary letters such as in word "technic"? It's really (...)   Re: IR tower question

Robert, I hope an electronics person tells me I'm wrong, because this is where I'm stuck too. The serial port sets 2400 baud. But my understanding is that we have to get the Palm to generate a 38kHz signal. That is, pulse the IR led on/off at 38kHz. (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Bitmaps from MLCad

(...) Manually, just cut and paste from the MPD into the various DAT files. Or an MPD splitter program. Jacob has a command-line program, go to (URL). Mpeedy is another utility, it can build and split MPDs. It's a Windows program, with a GUI and (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad)

  FS: 3x7851 4.5/12V Curved Rails

Hi. I have three used 7851 4.5V/12V curved rails (each pack makes a half-circle) which didn't go in my auction, so I"m offering them for straight sale before trying Ebay. They're in very good used condition, no documentation/packaging. I'll sell (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: idea for firmware development

(...) Well, I think it would be an interesting exercise in programming... The only advantage I can see right now is if the pbForth implementation would be smaller, and thus one would have more space for the applications... but there may be others (...)   Is 6097 Night Lords Castle worth it

I was just at Kay Bee. Saw they had 2 6097 left. Has 597 something pieces. They had it on clearance for 40 bucks. I have NO castle sets except a few Ninja sets and the original Seige Tower and Yellow Castle. I do not mix up my pieces either, so I (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Line Following by Humans versus Bots

(...) I am really agreeing with you, but since yesterday I begun thinking a little in other pathways... The specifications for a general line following robot have to include also a specification for the kind of line/pathway the robot can follow. So (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  compiling legOS

Hi all, I think we have finally gotten a cross compiler built for Solaris. I am still not 100% sure. I will not say that we have until I have seen a robot driving around the table which has a program written in legOS and downloaded in it. However at (...)
