I started s similar project with the intent of allowing my HP LX200 (A DOS palmtop) to communicate to the RCX directly, with the hopes of mounting the LX200 alongside the RCX. | The Scout will work with the standard light sensor. The Scout inputs float at 5 volts (presumably an internal pull up resistor), and when a touch sensor is depressed, drop to about 0.30 volts....pretty standard sinking input logic.
