Never too old to play with Lego.

I found an article in Computer Games magazine about mindstorms the very last sentence is: "After all your never too old to play with Lego blocks, you're just required to make fancier stuff." If only TLG (TLC?) had this mentality. (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Wheels

Thanks for the info, Mark. And bugger. You don't know how much this is going to hurt my pride. I CAN'T STAND INSECTOIDS! My collection has so far been blissfully free of them - despite several near half price offers I've seen. Now it appears that I (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Doh! Frogot to add you OH guys (Chicago Legofest)

As I posted my notice for the hopefully upcoming Chicago Legofest, I forgot to include the OH local group. I see you guys are planning one of your own, possibly conflicting with the dates for this one. Just thought I'd let you guys know. It would be (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Silver bricks

(...) The silver bricks only came in the silver anniversary buckets last year. One 2x4 brick per bucket. As far as I know no other actual bricks are silver colored. Those that are will be hard to come by. (...) I have some 1x1s, 1x2 slopes, 2x2 (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

[ Still discussing (URL) ] Steve: (...) You=anyone (kind of - English is a very imprecise language - "on" in French, "man" in Danish, ...) (...) That depends on how the program is written. You could imagine that the variable "local_clipping" isn't (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Trans-blue pieces (was: Silver bricks)

(...) These are the only trans-blue I've seen (I got them from a 20? year old Universal Building Set): 1x2 brick (as above) 1x6 brick 2x2x2 sloped ---...--- Eric Harshbarger / eric@ericharshbarger.org / www.ericharshbarger.org "Oh please, if people (...)   Re: Silver bricks

(...) I believe that silver bricks only came in the 2x4 size. They were included in various 'silver anniversary' buckets and tubs (both LEGO and Duplo), and you only got 1 brick per product. I've got 23 2x4 bricks myself, but am not expecting to (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: building a maze

How about moving the discussion to the LegoRobotics Wiki? There are both advantages and disadvantages... Anyway, there's a page there now... (URL) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)
