Re: Millennium Falcon close-up! (was: Re: Sorry to spoil it KL, but 2000 catalog posted!)

(...) Ah, cool. Thanks! All I wanted to know... Strange feature to include, if you ask me. 'Specially since it was never SEEN in the movies (mentioned...). That was my first impression of it, too... Oh, well. Maybe I'll be lucky this thanksgiving (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) ~ LOL!! cow-pack! i love it! i won't be able to call 'em anything but! they're surely not ninja though. definitely european villains for the knights. later ~ craig (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Train Windows

I'm not so sure they are gray... look at the caption picture that shows the action shot of the minifig kicking a ball. Those look white :-( Maybe Kevin can clarify for us, but I'm not optimistic. They look gray in the one shot but it is shadowed and (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: Millennium Falcon close-up! (was: Re: Sorry to spoil it KL, but 2000 catalog posted!)

I tried a 300dpi of page 8 and you still can't really make out the action box. My best guess is that it is an escape pod coming out the back. My scanner isn't the sharpest as you can see. KL (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

One good town set for 2000 (maybe?)

6600 looks like it has pretty good vehicles, and the first raised road plates! I hope they sell them seperate (probably not...). Page 26, BTW. And if you don't have the site by now it's (URL) :) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=...=-=-=-=-=- jmbrown@mines.edu (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Jason Brown wrote in message <38273E75.5BDE6C8D@m...es.edu>... (...) I feel the same way. There is no way to beat the ones I have seen. I noticed the single person cockpit also. As was the case with you, I too am now disappointed in the MF. All (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 2000 Scans are Online!

(...) That does sound like really good news - I assume these are pretty much the first Lego sets for which the suggested age range is basically an adult range. What puzzles me though is *why* they are marked as from 16. They don't look especially (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: More news on 2000 lineup!

(...) Are those Ninja or "Cow-pack" (like Wolfpack, but with that steer emblem). They look kinda European to me, like a band of bad guys to put your new Knight's Kingdom castle under seige. That swords don't look very ninja. I think I'll just call (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: More news on 2000 lineup!

(...) I assumed those were more castle - the enemy for the Knights to vanquish :) But if it works in Castle *and* Ninja themes then all the cooler! Richard (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Millennium Falcon close-up! (was: Re: Sorry to spoil it KL, but 2000 catalog posted!)

(...) Good deal Kevin, that helps a bit on judging the MF... but I'd still like a close up of 8 of the Falcon, and maybe the A-Wing, please. Both have strange things going on in the cartoony pictures above their set pictures. Or if you can just (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)
