New Space Ship on Web: XG-48i

I just finshed my first non-Star Wars themed model in the last few months. It is part of the Antiv Drive Yards collection, but dose not appear on that page yet. My design philosphy was to recreate the rough and 'hurried' look of YG-99. I see this (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

RE: Wot no RCX power connector?

It looks like they have changed the boards fairly significantly. Many parts substitutions -- notable the capacitor farm looks like it has been replaced by a battery backup capacitor. The overall parts count seems to be reduced in more places than (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: An actual ATAT site!

(...) It was very quick, but it was there. It was a TIE fighter platform, with the AT-AT next to it, and that huge radar dish, if I remember right. The game Rogue Squadron for the N64 had a lot of those platforms, and it had TIE fighters and guys on (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

OK, we've been discussing how to best extend the LDraw language to allow rendering engines to do backface-culling. We've got a pretty good agreement on most of what is needed. I think it would be productive, at this point, to work from a complete (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Adults Are People Too!

Well, as I've noted in many other Lugnet groups and on RTL, if there is something you want from the US, I will ship it to you for cost plus shipping. Using Larry P's factoring service would probably be fastest for payment. (...) -- | Tom Stangl, (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Need Balls!

I am coaching a team in the FLL contest. I need a supply of those 5 or 6 nub diameter foam balls -- at least 30. Does anyone have an idea of a source? Is there any similar thing that comes from Nerf? How many balls come with the RoboSports expansion (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
