RE: new pieces (was Re: Wot no RCX power connector?)

(...) I wasn't sure that Kekoa had ever admitted to being amazed, so I had a look over at the links above. Now I know what he is talking about. <snip> I assume you are amazed at the new anti-gravity levitating brick at the bottom of picture 3. I (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Interesting interpretation of "new in box"

(...) Hm, I wonder if it's worth raising a stink with eBay. Both of these are clearly misrepresentations. New in Box should not have a picture of a set in a plastic baggie and no sign of the box.   Re: An actual ATAT site!

Wow! That is a really good AT-AT model. Fantastic. Although I have one minor niggle. As far as I know, when an AT-AT unloads it's troops and equipment, it kneels down so that the body is as low to the ground as possible. Then the huge side hatch (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  4561/4560 and Busy Bee

I was in Busy Bee on Monday, and asked if they would be getting any 4560s, as I already have *plenty* of controllers. Paul said that they are not getting any 4560s, but he will take the controller/transformer out of the 4561, and reduce the price (...) (...) Maybe bulk-order of older stuff, not bulk-order of parts. And the shipping alone makes it somewhat prohibitive to order things from BB unless you're really desperate for something, imo. Too bad we don't have a US equivalent of BB. (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.trains)
