Looks like the 8250 Rescue Sub is being replaced by an "upgraded" version (#8299) which includes a CD-ROM (on e-toys at (URL) ) for $50--thus explaining the reduced price via Shop-at-Home. E-toys talks about the motor (#8720), but I don't think (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) especially (...) That's still too big! I try to keep thumbnails under 5Kb, usually 1 to 2Kb. My connection's pretty slow... (...) It's even easier than that. Just run C:\LDRAW\MODELS>l3p -o -cg30,45 -ca5 somedat.dat and L3P will automatically compute the radius for an angle of 5.
