Re: Well this gives a new meaning to Spam...

(...) That's probably not a good response. It just adds to the problem, and irritates the admins of both your site and theirs. Instead, examine the headers carefully and e-mail the abuse addresses at all of the sites involved, including the headers (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO Stereogram (see it in 3D!)

(...) Seriously, does anyone know if astigmatism can affect the results of these images? It's like those pictures that were all the rage at the malls a few years back. I'm of the opinion that stuffing LSD into the frame might be a key factor of (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Re: RIS 1.5

It's like the normal black Technic 3-stud friction pin except that one (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Lego at Gerf.Org

(...) There may be no functional difference, but they're very different things. A domain name certainly _isn't_ any old DNS entry. A DNS entry can be a lot of things -- an MX record, a CNAME, etc. Some DNS entries are for host names. Those get A (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.general)

  Re: Good vs. Evil

(...) well, my castle scenarios have lots of women & babes (about four guys to every girl) but about half of these chicks are lesbians, so the men are still pretty restless at night.(could be fun <snicker>) visitors to my site know what kind of (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Lego at Gerf.Org

Re: [Datsville] Renovated House with Porch, Includes a Yard

Jeff Stembel <Dragonelf1@aol.com> wrote in message news:FIqHC1.2L3@lugnet.com... (...) Jeff, since this is rather different than the first house w/ porch, would you mind if I repainted the original and just added this one elsewhere in Datsville? I (...)   Re: Lego at Gerf.Org

(...) It could be. But it could also be a host name. I appeal to the FOLDOC: <URL:(URL) "domain" is most commonly used to refer to a group of computers whose hostnames share a common suffix, the domain name. The last component of this is the (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)
