Sanjay, It is also confusing for us Dutch people. The official english word for our country is The Netherlands. Holland is a province (county) within it. Actually, there are two Hollands: North and South Holland. The name Holland dates back to the (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.nl)

If you read the origonal message you will find out that no cricket takes place here whatsoever. it is a football ground. Are the terms Holland and "the Netherlands" used interchangably when describing the country? For instance which of the following is correct? What you've got there is a relax-eyed (or parallel-eyed or free-viewing) stereogram, meaning that if you cross your eyes, you'll see the 3D effect backwards and it'll look very strange. (...)
