  Re: Space stations?

(...) Ooo, cool idea -- put a standard port on a fuel module, except instead of an airlock door, there're just fuel-feed connectors. If these feeds are also standardized, the receiving ship just plugs into the fuel automatically. If not, the (...) (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

[Datsville] Renovated House with Porch, Includes a Yard  [DAT]

Here is my renovated House with Porch. It is built up on a hill, and includes landscaping, a garage, my car, and, of course, my House with Porch. The MPD will not view properly, so you will have to split it(1). Also, for some reason, it thinks (...) (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) True. But I was thinking about if I wanted to actually build something. You know, without the computer. Steve (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

(...) Yes, there should be at least a minimum opening standard for each DP type. The sealing surface spec will settle the question of maximum opening. (...) Depends on how absent-minded your crew is. And whether the safety locks are reliable. :) (...) (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Space stations?

(...) Oops. Erg. This is not easily resolved. Drat. The indented/extended portions could be changed to use bricks and tiles, instead of slopes. Or we could keep the surfaces flat, like the M3 port. Steve (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call)

(...) Yup. It is slightly longer than the Atlantis from Launch 'N Load Seaport. I'm glad I got three extra copies of 6560. That is a great set! Jeff P.S. I don't know how big the USS Constellation is, so I'm not including it. (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

Re: NELUG Meeting R.S.V.P. (Was: "So?")

(...) I can definitely make it next Tuesday. Probably not Sunday the 26th, but I could make it the following Sunday if that works better for people. (I'm also available this Thursday although that date wasn't officially offered by Suzanne and the (...) (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call)

[lugnet.people snipped from ng list] (...) Good point. The lack of detail is doubly-disappointing, because the boats are the biggest point of variation between the sets.[1] In a way, they are the reason to get *all* the Divers sets. Is the ship in (...) (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)
