Suggestions for developers of LCAD programs

The creation of new LEGO CAD programs based on the LDraw DAT format is great, but I continue to use LEdit for a number of reasons.   RE: The Scout vs. the RCX

I'm not sure I agree.... The Scout has functionality built in that isn't well expressed in this release. If I were cynical, I might think that Lego was positioning a new toy for this Christmas, and a software update for next ;>) The Scout will (...) (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

small !!!4.5v!!! Train Accessory Elements auction

CORRECTION!!! They are indeed 4.5v OOOPS! At closer inspection the 4.5v is molded in to the light brick! That's what happens when a 9v'er plays with older trains! SteveB (...) (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Do either of these parts exist?

(...) If I'm not dreaming, either 8250 or 8277 (or both) have several (well, if it was 8250, it oculd be just a couple) 1x1 grey tiles. Of course those are pretty large sets just to get a few small bits from. (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Review: 8286 3-in-1 car

(...) Good review. You were right on in your assessment of the mechanicals and building of the set--it's not at all complicated mechanically, but it shows the builder a *lot* of different building techniques. Steve (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.reviews)

Is S@H the best place to get an infusion of Gray Bricks?

I have been trying to increase my Gray Brick count for a while now and while I have had a little luck is a couple of auctions I just have not been able to increase my Gray Brick count very quickly. I have been considering buying a bunch of the Gray (...) (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.service)

  truck wheels: 5563 vs 5571

Has anybody got 5563, the "Diesel Rig" racing truck? What do you think about this set? Are the wheels in 5563 the same as in 5571, the black cat truck? Cheers, Hao-yang Wang (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.modelteam)

  Technic Shuttle

Is there a place that sells an un-opened version of that sweet Technic Space Shuttle? I've seen a few on eBay for 'new and unopened' and wondered if there was a vendor out there like DYA that sells the 8880 Car for $100 US Thanks TOm (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.technic)
