  Re: Using airtanks on 8868

(...) Don't you loose all precise control with the air tank? My experience with using the air tanks is that when you flip the switch, the cylinders go _smack_ to the extreme position at once. Fredrik (25 years ago, 19-Sep-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: IRPD revisited

Matthew, I agree. Depends on the speed of the robot. If the bot is moving slow enough, touch sensors are fine. There are probably configurations with long mechanical "feelers" that will work well at higher speeds. From what I have seen, adults seem (...) (25 years ago, 19-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Browser Add-On to View DAT Files...

Try a simpler one first with only one part... I believe that when you install LDLite it will automatically make the association for you if you use netscape. if not, when netscape prompts you what to do with the file, instead of downloading it, tell (...) (25 years ago, 19-Sep-99, to lugnet.faq)
