Glad the EV3 software download is free. It would definitely support the students working on their programs outside of the lab. LEGO was first introduced to Asia in 1962, when sales started in Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. Sales started off very slowly, and remained so for a very long time. Also I got an interesting reply from lego. I asked them why all of their motors were slow. I MOC'ed a 8090 Supercar together with a 30,000 rpm 7.2 Hobby RC motor. Great in theory

Saturday Academy, the non-profit I taught summer camps for, provided my class with pre-ordered NXTs the week they became available. That was before the recession. They are in no position to replace their 60+ NXTs with the same amount of EV3 in the (...) (11 years ago, 9-Sep-13, to lugnet.robotics)
