Oops.. absolutely correct - do I feel like an idiot? :) As Doug says, the brick can only be programmed in a limited sense using VLL. (...) Actually, the Droid Developer Kit and Dark Side Development Kit contain the Micro Scout which is not really programmable. See (URL) details on how to program it with a VLL. Picked up a used Droid Developer Kit (set #9748) via garage sale. Had the instruction manuel, the micro-scout and missing less than a handful of parts (easily replaced). Well, I built this MOC in about 5 days, (not counting the time waiting for parts) but waited 30 days to finally get decals on it. Unfortunately, O-scale was too big, and HO-scale is too small, but I had to go with HO, cause it at least fit. (URL) (...) (15 years ago, 15-Aug-09, to lugnet.trains, FTX) !
