  Re: Aw, no SNOT?

(...) I know how important it is for many people to have no studs showing on anything they build, but that being said and since this is just my opinion, please take it for what it is worth, I personally do not see the need to cover every little stud (...)   Aw, no SNOT?

This being my first Lego con, I was looking forward to learning a bit about SNOT building techniques; I'm always floored when I see examples of it, but never feel inspired on how to do it myself. I guess there's no presentations or workshops about (...) (15 years ago, 11-Jun-09, to lugnet.events.brickworld)

Re: Has Anyone Tried This and Will it Work?

(...) I think the real intent was not so much installing a second motor, but actually powering the PF motor, or even a second PF motor from the 9V rail. Using the 9V truck to pick up power from the track and using the 8886 extension wire to convert (...) (15 years ago, 11-Jun-09, to lugnet.trains)

Re: LPub Bad results with LDView

Re: Has Anyone Tried This and Will it Work?

(...) Interesting idea, Clifton. I would be very interested to see if this works and if it is 'safe' for the motors. One thing to keep in mind though is that 9V motor failure tends to be more tied to the internal power leads that connect the wheels (...) (15 years ago, 11-Jun-09, to lugnet.trains)

Re: LPub Bad results with LDView

(...) Sounds not good. At present I have no idea what the problem could cause. But LDView should not be the problem as you can see the parts correctly there. So it has to be the connection between both. Did you try in LPub - "Clear assembly image (...) (15 years ago, 11-Jun-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub Bad results with LDView

(...) Full version information of LDView was 4.0 beta 1 (1 Dec. 2008) I have now updated to LDView 4.0.1 (7.Feb.2009) but the colouring problem persists. (15 years ago, 11-Jun-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub Bad results with LDView

(...) As I do not have LPub 4.0.0.2 I can not give good comments. Is LDView 4.0.1 (7.Feb.2009) ? (only to be sure to compare the right things.) cu mikeheide (15 years ago, 11-Jun-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub Bad results with LDView
