  Re: LGEO Update

(...) Thanks for bringing this mistake to my attention. Actually, nobody decided anything yet. This is the unofficial library, so "They may be incomplete, or inaccurate, and it is possible that when they are officially released they may be changed (...)   Re: LEGO Factory / PaB Pricing Study

(...) -snip- (...) 55 cents a piece? That's what market dominance lets them do: Big Ben's Bricks, BrickArms and Brickforge could never get away with charging that much per piece. Or could they? Thanks E. I'm a lot slower these days, but I'm still building. And watching...always watching ;) Later guy! (...) (15 years ago, 8-Apr-09, to lugnet.build.mecha)

"Deathstrider" Droid Host Unit and a centipede

I've been thinking for awhile that a mantis-like creation would fit in well with my Vedraan Empire sub-theme of Silicon Psyche. Check out the "Deathstrider" droid host unit- (URL) the past few years, I've accumulated a lot of metallic Bionicle (...)   Re: LGEO Update

(...) Apparently somebody decided to rename this part to 3928c01.dat. They then also decided that 3829.dat should just be the base. That is how things look on the tracker right now. However, anyone using the official parts library will be using 3829 (...) (15 years ago, 8-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: MoonBase Corridor System

Hey, this is good work! I see lot's of handy modules. I enjoyed looking through your galleries. You seemed to have thought of many ideas to help make a giant layout.....and you know I love Moonbases! Kudos for carrying on the tradition as well as (...) (15 years ago, 8-Apr-09, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Olympus Defence Mecha

Nice Mark, true to your style, there is a lot of tiny details in the most hidden places! Good to see your creations again in your photostream. I really dig the front end with those almost spider like eyes. Eric (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Tank truck

(...) Love it! A gorgeous design that nicely evokes the real vehicle, and it just plain looks great. I love the overall lines, specifically the angled front and in the side windows. A great little MOC! Dave! (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Help needed on gear spacing, and another question

While the worm and 1x4 rack pitch are not the same and they do not mesh perfectly, it is still possible to make them work together in a reliable way. You may see one example below, (URL) Originally posted at TechnicBRICKs (URL) (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: HispaBrick Magazine 004

  Re: LGEO Update

(...) As far as I can tell, 3829 is broken. The LDraw version of this file is just a reference to the steering wheel stand (3829a.dat) and the wheel itself (3829b.dat). The LGEO version of 3829 is just the stand, and lg_3829a is just an alias for (...) (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LEGO Factory / PaB Pricing Study

(...) Hi Jordan, Thanks for this information. I noticed it today also after a message from one of the French FreeLUG people about those ridiculous high prices. I found the previous (European) prices already on the high side, but now its as you (...) (15 years ago, 6-Apr-09, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory / PaB Pricing Study

(...) To me, the answer is that TLG should be charging "cost plus" on PAB (i.e. their cost to produce the part plus some amount). However, that then means the price changes every time they do a new run of the part where the new run cost them more or (...) (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: BlueBrick

  Re: BlueBrick

(...) I got few feedback from someone who try to run it under Mono 2.0 on linux. According to him it seems quite ok, BUT the drag'n'drop of parts from the part library to the map seems not working under Mono. A very annoying bug that I will try to (...) (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LEGO Factory / PaB Pricing Study

(...) There are a couple elements that I've been meaning to purchase for a few projects. They used to be 11cents, now they're 34cents. Since I'd need to purchase several hundred of each that is a big difference. I guess I won't be starting those (...) (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory / PaB Pricing Study

I have also noticed the higher prices from the online Pick-a-Brick. I wonder how often and how thoroughly that the calculations that go into these prices are looked over by management. With such a high volume of parts that the machines that make (...) (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.lego)
