With respect to the recent level of interest in this device and it's inclusion into the "Lego fold", I wonder if we/someone shoudn't look into packaging issues. Maybe some kind of long bricks and/or old style baseplates, epoxy and a hacksaw type (...) (27 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

With the two new sizes you end up with five different ratios that can be constructed with two gears at a 2-stud (16 millimeter) axle spacing: 8 <-> 24 1:3 ratio 12 <-> 20 1:1.4 ratio 16 <-> 16 1:1 ratio 20 <-> 12 1.4:1 ratio (...)
