On Saturday January 31st and Sunday February 1st, NCLUG and NCLTC will exhibit at the 5th annual LEGOPalooza at the Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This is a free event. (...) No. There's a trick that someone came up with where you slip a rare-earth magnet between the two magnetic couplers of adjacent cars. Questions: 1. "Coupling will done with Lego's standard magnets at Lego's standard height. High power magnets will be used to prevent uncoupling." Aren't those two sentences mutually exclusive? 2. Very nice! I accidentally found out that stacks of the wedge bricks in an alternating left-right stack would fit together about a month ago, but I haven't used the technique yet. I've never seen loose bricks used as running water, but I must admit (...) (16 years ago, 27-Jan-09, to lugnet.castle)
