  BayLUG Turns 10!

The Bay Area LEGO Users Group (BayLUG) is pleased to announce that on October 10, 2008, we turn 10 years old, and we want you to come out and celebrate with us! The party is at the Museum of American Heritage in Palo Alto on Sunday, October 12. The (...) (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

  Re: LPub4.0.0.1 available

I found one more thing. It appears that at least one of the parts placed in step 7 gets left around inside the model, and is just visible in step 15 as a black rectangle in the center of the bottom. The is visible in both versions of the PDF. (...) (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub4.0.0.1 available

(...) You missed a difference on Page 2. In the bottom part, the green arrows are shown in the 4.0.0.1 version, and not in the other version. (...) And round light grey plate 1x1 is not shown either. --Travis (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub4.0.0.1 available

(...) I am looking forward to the results, as I am due to deliver building instructions for a project I am working on. I have sent you some personal E-mails about this too. Once again, I thank _you_ for all you effords in creating LPub. (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Slope Brick 1x1

Right. So who is to change the name then? Peeron or LDraw? (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: September 27th SMART meeting at Redmond Library

(...) BrickCon is definitely a "go", and SMART will have some sort of display there, though I'm not sure it will be a robot city as we originally planned. Thanks to everyone who made it to the meeting, and worked hard building robots and writing (...) (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: Chemical Tanker Cars - Rolling Stock

(...) Dude! That's the sweetest tanker I've seen yet! Did you build that? Mark (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: September 27th SMART meeting at Redmond Library

(...) Hi David, Just wanting to confirm whether the BrickCon event is a go or not? Just trying to set up plans for the week and allocating time where needed. Thanks, Carl (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: Chemical Tanker Cars - Rolling Stock

James clearly copied me! ;) Actually I have no idea who did what first, back in the day when the initial cache of basic designs where emerging we used to vamp off each other all the time. James and I and many others collaboratively / incrementally (...) (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Slope Brick 1x1

(...) But if you use the part properly* it's 31 degrees. The 45 slope is named for its face slope rather than its total slope. Tim * And by properly I, of course, mean use a heap of offsetting to make them all line up ;) (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: LPub4.0.0.1 available

(...) Jaco, Thanks for your detailed analysis complete with MPD to allow recreation. I will take if rom here and fix the LPub bugs. Kevin (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Slope Brick 1x1

(...) So what name do we give this piece? Slopebrick 33, 45 or rather 38? (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: LPub4.0.0.1 available

(...) OK, while testing and playing around with LPub 4 I tried some new techniques I've come up with. I've recreated the "exact" instructions for set 4491. (URL) the same file in LPub 4.0.0.0 and 4.0.0.1 gives different outputs. I've uploaded the (...) (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Slope Brick 1x1

(...) Why does the follow-up go to the Robotics group? This is a CAD / LDraw issue, so it should be lugnet.cad.dat.parts. (My mistake in the first place to post it to lugnet.cad ;-) (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Slope Brick 1x1

(...) ...but if you look at the overall slope of the part, it is closer to 38 degrees. Philo (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: brickfilmsfestival 2008

(...) Woohoo! Den skulle jag velat vara med på. Har haft som dröm att göra LDraw-baserade CGI-animationer i många år, (URL) tiden räcker ju aldrig till. /Tore (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Concept car

(...) Awesome! What about a LDraw model? I just finished the new differential and wishbone ;o) (URL) (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

Re: Ordering custom-cut plastic gears for Legos

(...) One problem is that changing teeth number also change gear diameter... and you will run into some troubles with LEGO grids. Philo (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.robotics)

  brickfilmsfestival 2008

(...) (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Slope Brick 1x1

(...) Indeed. I make it 31 degrees. Tim (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.robotics)
