I've built a robot with a rotation sensor that keeps track of the position of the steering wheels. If you gear up this movement a bit it gets accurate enough to keep the wheels straight. You need to add a calibration routine to your program to find (...) (27 years ago, 5-Sep-99, to lugnet.build)

MJ, The RCX itself does not need a lot of power. However, if you're going to run 2 motors off each output port (a total of 6), 200 mA won't be enough.
