Re: TANKS, TRAINS and General Feedback

(...) Thanks Tim I really needed that now after I thought it was all said and done. Gary tells me you would like to come up to Ipswich one day and have a look at the layout? You could also see the 2800's and EMU on permanent display while you are (...) (16 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: 3ds Max Import Script

(...) Hi Guys, thanks for the feedback, what I've done is basically take both suggestions and merge them. Basically what I've observed so far is that not all parts in the "Parts" folder have the LDRAWORG meta tag (which denotes the type of file, (...) (16 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: I'm Batman!

(...) This is fantastic! I have added it to my blog about Large-Scale LEGO at www.bigbricks.co.uk. I hope you don't mind. Darren (16 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Australian Ambassadors - nominations/voting

Hi all, I think it's important that we ensure at least some Australian representation in the LEGO Ambassadors thread so I'm starting this thread for people to nominate and second/third/whatever Australian people. If you're from one of the local (...) (16 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

--snip-- (...) --snip-- (...) Well I finally summoned up the energy to insert my own punctuation and read this post in its entirety and caught this comment. As was clearly stated in the original post and in the picture on that post that the tank (...) (16 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Parallels Advice

(...) Travis; You, of course, are correct. Home Basic and Home Premium cannot be virtualized, but the more expensive version can. Just recently MS was going to change the EULA to allow virtualization, but then changed its mind back. --Jim (16 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Blacktron Impaler

The Blacktron Impaler is the next generation multi purpose surveillance and interdiction spacecraft. It supercedes the Renegade with updated weapon systems plus plenty of conventional firepower. The Impaler's surveillance capabilities can tap into (...) (16 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3ds Max Import Script

(...) Hi Travis! Thanks for the input. I'm yet to fully exploit the meta/header data of the files, I've focused on the winding properties only thus far. This will give me greater cause to look deeper into them! Cheers Shane (16 years ago, 3-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: 3ds Max Import Script

Thanks Steve! That's really useful! I too thought that ldraw site would have the directory structure more documented then it is, but clarification is always nice. Cheers Shane (16 years ago, 3-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: Parallels Advice

(...) I run Windows XP on my Mac via dual boot and VMWare Fusion and have had zero problems with any LDraw related software. I also run Vista on a dedicated laptop and have had few issues with some older programs (LeoCAD to be specific) but no show (...) (16 years ago, 3-May-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 3ds Max Import Script

Re: Can one use LEGO Mindstorms on GNU/Linux operating systems?

  Re: Parallels Advice

  Re: Parallels Advice

(...) What specific Windows LDraw software do you want to use? I would just check whether there are any Vista compatibility issues with those programs. (I haven't heard of any.) Jim (16 years ago, 3-May-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Using LDraw (and LeoCAD, LDGLite, LDView) on 64 bit Linux?

(...) A six year old version doesn't sound all that great. How hard would it be to get the current version to compile under x64? Failing that, how hard would it be to get the 32 bit version running under x64? With commands like linux32 and such I'm (...)
