  Re: Lego artist needed

(...) Hi the pro builders are a good lot, Nathan does custom work (called the brick artist), you can also check with the clubs, some of them do amazing work as well. www.brickmuseum.net Dan (17 years ago, 26-Jan-08, to lugnet.events, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.loc.us.fl, lugnet.loc.us.fl.orl)

Re: Power Function control with RCX and BrickOS

(...) Okay, thanks. I can get 'Single output Mode' to work now. 'Single pin Mode' may be working too, but I'm not sure what to expect from it. I would expect setting either C1 or C2 would set them to 9V and run a motor forwards or backwards. Setting (...)   Re: Wrong Head?

(...) I received my replacement today along with what appears to be a canned letter. --Jack AFOL, St. Louis (17 years ago, 26-Jan-08, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Power Functions infra-red RC protocol released!

(...) I'd be very interested in that experiment (using a Hobby train RC on the PW Receiver) as well, but this does answer a number of questions for trains. For instance, tunnels and large layout out of line-of-sight on the RC should now be possible. (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jan-08, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)

Re: Power Functions infra-red RC protocol released!

(...) Either single pin modes allow to set each output to 1 (9V) or 0 (0V). (...) See the drive datasheet: (URL) can reach 1A peak, continuous value is lower (500-600mA) especially if both outputs are heavily loaded at the same time.   Re: Power Function control with RCX and BrickOS

(...) Bob, I could not wait to get home from work to try this. I want to say thank you; your effort has saved me many countless hours. I loaded the Firmware, and the Program into a 1.0 RCX, and the brick worked flawlessly! On my 1.0 brick, I was (...)   Re: "Studless" hinges?

Ohhhhh, so that's what that program is for... Thanks, Philo, that does the trick. (17 years ago, 26-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Norfolk & Western Y6b 2-8-8-2 Steam Locomotive

(...) Cale: That is one sweet looking loco. :-) I happen to be a fan of the jagged boiler look. It gives it that strong, tough, and rough around the edges look. Very nice. I agree with Tony that 9-wide just sets this thing off. It really puts it in (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jan-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Has Lego begun producing "war toys"?

(...) A crying shame really, since WW2 models precisely like those would guarantee them my money. ESPECIALLY M1 Abrahms and Apaches! (Aircraft carriers would rock, too) (17 years ago, 26-Jan-08, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: LEGO Star Wars Anniversary Set - Help Decide

Hello! Jabba’s Palace. The whole building, not just some play scene set. Bye Jojo (17 years ago, 26-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors)
